Commercial Waterproofing Systems
Nusite Group delivers commercial waterproofing systems for complex building projects across the GTA and Southern Ontario. Established in 1990, we support general contractors, project managers, property managers, and facility teams with system-focused waterproofing solutions for below-grade construction, podium decks, parking structures, elevator pits, and other demanding commercial environments.
Our work is built around technical execution, coordination, and long-term performance. Whether the scope involves new construction, rehabilitation, or remedial waterproofing, we help project teams select and install commercial waterproofing systems that align with site conditions, sequencing requirements, and building performance goals.
Commercial Waterproofing for Complex Building Conditions
Commercial waterproofing requires more than product selection. It requires the right system, proper detailing, coordinated installation, and an understanding of how waterproofing interacts with concrete, structural, and building envelope assemblies.
Nusite Group provides commercial waterproofing services for institutional, industrial, and large-scale commercial properties where durability, constructability, and long-term water management are critical. We work on both new construction and existing building rehabilitation projects, helping teams address below-grade conditions, water ingress risks, expansion joints, traffic-bearing surfaces, and specialized assemblies that demand experienced execution.

commercial roof and waterproofing transition areas
This work is performed within larger project teams where proper sequencing, coordination with adjacent trades, and compliance with project specifications are essential.
Pre-Construction, Design Support & Budget Planning
Nusite Group supports projects before installation begins. We assist with waterproofing system selection, constructability review, detailing input, and cost planning so project teams can make informed decisions early in the process.
Our team works with consultants, contractors, and ownership groups to align waterproofing assemblies with site conditions, scheduling requirements, and long-term performance expectations. This early coordination helps reduce risk, avoid compatibility issues, and support smoother project delivery.
Warehouse & Industrial Building Waterproofing
Warehouses and industrial buildings are critical assets for many businesses, and their structural integrity is paramount. Nusite Group specializes in foundation waterproofing for these commercial properties, ensuring that both the building walls and the foundation remain impervious to water damage. Whether it’s a garage roof in need of sealing, a parking structure requiring an efficient drainage system, or an expansive warehouse floor that demands a robust waterproofing system, our team has the expertise to deliver.
With a focus on longevity and durability, our solutions are designed to protect warehouses, industrial buildings, and parking structures from the challenges posed by water infiltration, giving property owners peace of mind.
Waterproofing Flat Roof Buildings
Flat Membrane Roofing is a popular choice for many commercial, industrial, and warehouse structures due to its sleek design and functionality. However, these roofs, while aesthetically pleasing, can sometimes become leaky if not properly maintained. Nusite Group offers specialized waterproofing services tailored for flat roofs, ensuring they remain watertight and durable.
Our waterproofing also extends to green roofs, where the combination of vegetation and roofing requires a delicate balance of waterproofing to prevent any potential damage. Whether you’re dealing with a leaky commercial building or looking to enhance the longevity of your industrial structure’s roof, our team is equipped to provide the best waterproofing solutions for flat roof buildings.
Foundation Waterproofing
Below-Grade Waterproofing Systems
Below-grade waterproofing is critical to long-term building performance in commercial and institutional construction. Nusite Group provides below-grade waterproofing systems for foundation walls, structural slabs, blindside conditions, elevator pits, and other assemblies where water infiltration can compromise durability, operations, and lifecycle performance.
For new construction and existing buildings, our below-grade services include:
ICF Waterproofing – Waterproofing for insulated concrete form (ICF) foundation walls on commercial and institutional projects during the construction phase.
Blindside Waterproofing – Pre-applied waterproofing installed against shoring before the foundation wall is poured, used on zero-lot-line sites and deep excavations where the exterior face will not be accessible after construction.
Wall & Floor Crack Repair – Assessment and repair of cracks in foundation walls and structural slabs, from polyurethane and epoxy injection to crack stitching, matched to whether the crack is active, structural or leaking.
Drainage & Leak Remediation – Drainage systems and catch basins integrated with the waterproofing assembly, and remediation of active below-grade leaks in occupied commercial buildings.
Interior Waterproofing
Injection & Interior Water Management Solutions
For existing commercial buildings, targeted injection and interior-side waterproofing strategies can help control active water ingress where exterior access is limited or where phased remediation is required. Nusite Group provides crack injection, curtain wall injection, and related waterproofing solutions for occupied commercial and institutional environments where access, continuity, and operational constraints must be carefully managed.

Exterior Waterproofing
Exterior waterproofing is the first line of defense against water infiltration, and Nusite Group offers a range of exterior systems to keep below-grade structures dry, including perimeter drainage to relieve hydrostatic pressure at the foundation. For structures with intricate designs or unique challenges, our Bathtub Waterproofing Systems provide a robust barrier against water, ensuring the building’s exterior remains impervious to moisture.
Additionally, in situations where traditional waterproofing methods may not be feasible, our Blind Side Waterproofing technique offers a reliable solution, ensuring protection even in the most challenging scenarios. With Nusite Group, exterior waterproofing is detailed and installed to the project specification.
